This qualification is designed for individuals aged 16+ entering the construction industry or experienced tradespeople seeking to enhance their retrofit knowledge. It’s also ideal for those without retrofit experience (electricians, plumbers, etc.) aiming for roles like retrofit assessor.

– Key Health & Safety legislation relevant to and used in domestic retrofit
– Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR)
– Air tightness and air leakage
– Ventilation and air flow
– Condensation
– Mould and fungal decay
– Wet and dry rot
– Fire safety
– Thermal bridging and bypassing
On-site at Slough & Langley College (8:30am – 4:30pm)
